Jose Rubet 44, of Armand Road, pleaded guilty in New Britain Superior Court Friday to a charge of first-degree sexual assault in each of the two cases against him for a total sentence of 10 years in prison and 15 years of special parole. He was previously facing several more charges and in the process of calling witnesses during a trial when he decided he wanted to cut a deal, his attorney William Gerace said. The trial was attended by a group that identified themselves as Bikers Against Child Abusers, Gerace added.
